Minutes
The Campbellsville Taylor County Anti-Drug Coalition held their
monthly meeting on Friday, April 18, 2008 at Taylor Regional
Hospital. Reading and approval of March Minutes were presented
by Karen Hayes. There were 11 in attendance.
·Stay Safe Stay Sober Stay
Alive was discussed as upcoming on May 10 (CHS) and May 17
(TCHS).
·We Card Tobacco Vendor
Training was discussed as successful
·KASPER
presentation -
May 1 - Extension Office - 11:30 - 1:00 .
CEUs will be given for nurses
and doctors
·Cathy Williams discussed the
upcoming "Networking Day" (May 15) that will be held at Lure
Lodge for representatives of all Coalitions/ASAP
Boards.
· Reports were given on Arrive
Alive Taylor County, MADD, and Interagency.
·Funding opportunities
included applications submitted for STOP Grant ($50,000) and
SPF SIG Continuation Grant ($60,000). Karen is working on the
KY-ASAP RFP, which is due May 1 ($20,000). Karen requested any
ideas for the CHAMPIONS Grant, which will come out in
May/08
· The Coalition’s annual
membership drive will take place in May. Members were
encouraged to bring a new member. Prizes will be awarded for
members bringing the most.
· Jennifer Caulk from Drug
Court will be our guest speaker at the next meeting on May
16.

the meeting was adjourned at 1:00.
